Power Logging

Taqaton Arabia offers a full Power Logging service survey and analysis to quantify energy consumption and review power parameters. We are using advanced power loggers which log and record all power data such as includes Measurement of Power Quality Parameters (Voltage Frequency, Voltage Waveform, Current Waveform, RMS Voltage/Current Value, Active Power, Apparent Power, Reactive Power, Power Factor & Displacement Power Factor, Voltage & Current Unbalance.

Harmonic Studies

Taqaton Arabia harmonic studies designed to determine the harmonic distortion levels and potential resonance issues. These studies are typically associated with the installation of capacitor banks or reactors, and for designing and evaluating the performance of harmonic filter banks. Harmonic currents can increase the heating of conductors and transformers to critical levels, as well as causing performance interference with some load devices. The harmonic study will indicate if the power distribution system is in compliance with IEEE Standard.

Harmonic Studies will help in determining the proper corrective filters to minimize the harmonics. Arc Flash Hazard Analysis

Taqaton Arabia arc flash study helps reduce the risk of serious personnel injury and death in the event of an arc flash. It requires making sure that proper safety precautions are taken, and adequate personal safety equipment (PPE) is worn according to NFPA 70E, IEEE 1584, NEC 110.6, and OSHA standards. Electrical Safety Audit

Taqaton Arabia offer electrical safety audit including but not limited to data collection, site visits, visual inspection and tests for the energized electrical equipment. The activities including walkthrough the electrical installation using audit check list starting from transformers, main electrical panels, distribution panels, cables, etc. It will minimize the risk of accidents due to electrical hazards and improve the facility reliability.

Earth Resistance Test

Poor grounding contributes to downtime, but a lack of good grounding is also dangerous and increases the risk of equipment failure. Taqaton Arabia perform earth resistance measurement using latest tools as per NFPA and IEEE Standards and recommendation.
